The ViiK OVS-01GT is a dual tech vehicle detection sensor designed to be associated with an automatic gate, a barrier or an industrial door. Installed in suspension, it detects a vehicle that reaches a speed of 2 to 20 km/h before stopping. The vehicle is detected thanks to a combination of microwaves and ultrasonic waves. In many cases, ViiK OVS-01GT can replace grounded loop sensors or video-based sensors

Installation without any excavation work

The ViiK vehicle sensor detects small and large vehicles within a radius of 5.5 meters without using any underground device. As it does not require civil engineering work, the installation is not invasive, making this sensor an ideal replacement for the induction circuit in areas where excavation is difficult

Calibration is easy with a quick adjustment of distance and sensitivity.

Reliable detection in any light condition

The technology used by the OVS-01GT vehicle sensor is a combination of microwave and ultrasound. The microwave sensor can detect the presence of a vehicle based on FMCW (Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave, frequency modulated continuous wave radars). This technology, unlike video-based vehicle detection systems, is not affected by lighting conditions
