ARITECH FIRE EST-PSM48 Power supply management unit for Edwards modular EVAC system

Power supply management unit for Edwards modular EVAC system. Maximum managed power 3200W. Requires EST-PS48800 power modules. Equipped with a battery charger. CPR EN54-4 certified

The EST-PSM48 power management module has been designed to manage the direct current supply coming from power units (PSU) and spare batteries. The unit controls the battery charge and distributes power to all voice evacuation system (VES) equipment, with a maximum load of 60 A. When the system uses backup batteries, the power supplied is 3.2 kW (48 V).
The unit complies with EN 54-4 standards and also with EN 12101-10 standards (smoke and heat control systems).
As the main power source, the management module uses external 800 W power supplies (EST-PS48800). As a backup power source, it uses a battery pack with a maximum capacity of 200 Ah.
EST-PSM48 controls a bank of 4 12V VRLA batteries. It maintains the charge of the batteries, guarantees the charging parameters taking into account temperature compensation and monitors the resistance of the batteries and the wiring as specified in Annex A2 of the EN 54-4 standard.
EST-PSM48 can manage a maximum of 4 EST-PSM4880 power supply modules. The management module ensures safe power distribution and controls the electrical output parameters of each power supply module.
The EST-PS48800 power module is designed to be installed in the EST-PF4 chassis. The elements that make up the power system are designed to be assembled in a 19” rack with a degree of IP30 protection
