Description
The Protectowire family of linear heat detectors at the beginning of the confirmed temperature consists of advanced multisensor detectors consisting of models with alarm temperatures ranging from 57°C (135°F) to 180°C (356°F). Each detector is composed of two special metal alloy conductors individually insulated with a heat-sensitive polymer. The insulated conductors are twisted together to impose elastic pressure between them, then wrapped with a protective tape and finished with a flame-resistant outer coating.
