The RT8506-V router is the ideal solution for quality amplification systems with a particularly interesting price/performance ratio; it is a zone expansion unit that, connected to a control line coming from the CR8506-V, is able to manage up to 6 zones with external amplifiers of variable powers (AW5600 series) for a maximum of 1000 W. Each zone output has 2 circuits for speaker lines (A and B) in order to ensure complete coverage of the area even in the event of a circuit failure of one of the two lines. The maximum system configuration involves the use of 6 controllers connected with 36 routers (6 for each CR8506-V) for a total of 216 zones. Usable with power signals (100 V line amplifier output), the router is designed for two different connection configurations: in the first, 2 amplifiers are used (one for music and one for voice); in the second, it is possible to manage 2 voice amplifiers (3 zones each) and an amplifier for music. In both cases, all the amplifiers are continuously monitored and the one dedicated to music also performs the backup function: in the event of a fault, it automatically replaces the “voice” one.
