Overview FD310H
is an optical group consisting of an infrared transmission unit and a receiving unit to be used for the expansion of the FD310 linear smoke detector. The FD310 detector control unit is supplied with an optical group but is able to manage an additional FD310H unit.
FD310 is a linear smoke detector designed using the latest optical signal transmission technologies associated with extremely advanced electronics and software. The detector is particularly suitable for protecting large spaces, especially in the presence of very high ceilings. It can replace the use of point detectors in those areas where installing them is particularly complex.

The use of FD310H allows you to expand the advantages of the FD310 detector to a second optical group by providing separate and dedicated alarm and fault outputs through the main control unit.

Operation
FD310H is an additional optical group capable of interfacing with the control unit supplied with the FD310 linear detector. The system consists of a modern optical transmission unit capable of sending a ray of infrared light to a receiving optical group that communicates with the main control unit FD310 located at an easily accessible height. A darkening of this ray caused by the presence of smoke in the environment is detected and considered as an alarm situation. For correct and simple alignment, both light groups have integrated a precise mechanical adjustment system that allows movement of up to 10°. If a greater extension is necessary, an orientable support is optionally available that can guarantee a movement of 180° with a complete rotation of 360°. FD310H was designed to be installed by a single person thanks to the assisted laser alignment system associated with LED's that allow immediate verification. The laser alignment function can be activated both by the main control unit and by the receiving optical unit.
The main control unit of the FD310 linear detector, positioned at an easily accessible height, is equipped with a display with information based on an icon system to facilitate its use. The control unit makes the commissioning, testing and maintenance of the system extremely simple and fast. The programming allows the selection of sensitivity and alarm thresholds, adapting the system to the needs of the customer and the environment

to be protected.
