Spectrex SafEye Quasar 960 open-path UV detection for toxic ammonia gases with path lengths up to 200 feet (60 m). The Quasar 960 model can be customized to protect personnel and the high-risk installation. Reliability is essential and is guaranteed with SIL2. The Quasar 960 detectors incorporate heated windows to minimize the effects of condensation, ice, snow and are highly immune to the interference of sunlight or any other radiation source such as chimneys, arc welding or lightning. A range of outputs including 0-20 mA, HART, Modbus RS485 is available to suit all control systems.
