The DC4SEM2L traffic light control unit can manage both 24V traffic lights and 230Vac traffic lights as these are driven by clean relay contacts. The DC4SEM2L traffic control unit has been designed for traffic management on roads where 4 roads are connected. The control unit is divided by version based on the operating logic, depending on the installation requirement: A DC4SEM2LT: operation without detection devices (in TIME): The alternating times of the phases in which the traffic lights are turned on red or green are defined by the installer through trimmers on board the control unit. The times of the phases are fixed, cyclical times, regardless of the volume of incoming or outgoing traffic. The order of entry and exit of vehicles is defined independently by the control unit in a cyclical manner. B DC4SEMLI: operation with detection devices: As in the “cyclic” function, even in the “input” function, the alternating times of the phases in which the traffic lights are turned on red or green are defined by the installer through trimmers on board the control unit. The ignition is activated by the detection of vehicles on the corresponding inputs (entry and exit) through the appropriate devices installed (photocells, radars, etc.). This logic allows better management of the volume of inbound and outbound traffic and the order of entry and exit. In addition, this version of the control unit can also operate with output sensors, i.e. when a vehicle passes through this sensor, the control unit will receive the input to switch the previously enabled traffic light. The traffic light control unit is used to coordinate traffic lights inside parking lots, residences, and in all environments where organized access management is necessary.
