Ultralink I/O modules are used to receive and/or transmit alarm information as part of an integrated security system

Applications include:

-Converting the FlexZone sensor alarm collected on the Silver network into relays or open-collector outputs for input into a third-party security management system

-Auxiliary sensor alarm collection with dry contact inputs for visualization with a management system.

The Ultralink I/O module connects to the SILver Network via a communication card. Up to 8 Ultralink expansion modules can be connected to an UltraLink module (DF432). The operating modes of the relay outputs, the open-collector outputs and the clean contact inputs are configured with the UCM software. The UCM can be connected to the Ultralink modules via a direct USB connector to the I/O processor or via an IP connection through the network management software
