- 2nd RS-485 bus for modules and keyboards on UNIi 512, or
- Connect the Aperio wireless access control to the UNii 128/512, or
- Redundancy between two UNIi 128/512 control panels, or
- Cluster with multiple UNIi 128/512 exchanges
