THERMOSTICK VPS-220E5 Vesda Xtralis VPS-220-E5 Power Supply (FM Approved) — Style E

Xtralis power supplies are exclusively designed to complement the style and look of Xtralis aspiration smoke detectors (ASD) and are technically matched to provide sufficient current and battery charge capacity to meet the requirements of EN 54-4. The Style E variants are VdS certified and CE marked according to the EN54-4 standard, so they are particularly suitable for use in territories where such approvals are required. This is the original unit in the range. Designed with the same footprint as the VESDA-E; VEP, VES and VEU detectors, this power supply won't look out of place feeding these detectors. Internally, there is an EN54-4 certified power supply classified to provide continuous 24 V DC 0.5 A power supply while also charging batteries (not supplied), which may be a 7, 12 or only 14 Ah arrangement. As such, the unit can be safely used to power and provide 24 hours of standby time (plus 0.5 hours on alarm), for VESDA VLF-500, VESDA-E VEP and VESDA-E VES detectors and also for VESDA-E VEU detectors up to fan speed 5. As for the installation, the holes for the cable entry are aligned with those of the VESDA-E detectors, allowing a convenient positioning of the power supply directly adjacent to the detector. The front cover is equipped with 2 LEDs that provide a quick visual indication of OK and/or fault conditions, There is also an internal status LED to facilitate fault diagnosis. The unit also has an uncertified setting that allows you to power loads of up to 1A and recharge batteries up to 12Ah according to EN 54-4.
