WEINZIERL 5475 KNX IP BAOS 774.1 secure

The WEINZIERL 5475 device, known as KNX IP BAOS 774.1 secure, is a universal interface designed to connect to the KNX bus. The acronym BAOS stands for 'Bus Access and Object Server', allowing communication with the KNX system both at the telegram level (KNXnet/IP Tunneling) and at the datapoint level (KNX Application Layer).

Key Features

This device allows clients to directly access communication objects via the BAOS protocol via TCP/IP. The configuration takes place using the ETS (Engineering Tool Software) software and supports up to 1,000 communication objects.

Applications

The main application of KNX IP BAOS 774.1 secure is the integration of non-KNX devices and applications into the KNX system. This device allows the full integration of a device into the KNX system, including KNX data security and ETS support, without the need to implement a KNX stack in the device.
