XGUARD-10H HORIZONTAL LASER SENSOR

The XGUARD 10H Horizontal Laser Scanner can be used in combination with automatic barriers to reliably detect vehicles and pedestrians, while ensuring maximum protection for people; the typical application area is one where it is not possible to install induction coils (for example when there are metal reinforcing nets or electric floor heating). The laser scanner generates four overlapping horizontal rays and is able to scan an area of max. 9.9 x 9.9 m. This area can in turn be divided into a safety field and an opening field. Depending on the settings, the barrier can, for example, only open when a vehicle is detected (and not when a person is detected) and close only when there are no vehicles and/or people inside the security field.
