THERMOSTICK XCC-011 Suction smoke detector

The suction smoke detector actively draws air from the protected area through a network of pipes on which sample holes are drilled. Part of the air collected is filtered and channeled to the highly sensitive Laser detection chamber. Based on the smoke concentration in the sample, fire alarms will be generated and transmitted to the management and control system by means of digital outputs (SPST relay). A flow sensor is provided at the entrance to the detector to verify the integrity of the sample tube, they generate the signal of device failure if the sample holes are occluded or a suction tube breaks. The detector is equipped with a highly sensitive laser camera capable of promptly detecting the presence of smoke and is suitable for the protection of areas up to 1600 square meters. A maximum of 18 holes can be drilled on the sample pipe, each of which has a sensitivity equivalent to class C according to EN54-20 (fully similar to a point detector). The detector provides two alarm levels (Pre-Alarm and Alarm) through voltage-free relay outputs type SPST and a relay output for signaling machine failure type SPDT.
