Il gateway Anybus BACnet Gateway Modbus su consente la connessione di slave MODBUS a una rete BACnet. Il gateway funziona come un convertitore di protocollo tra le due reti, in questo modo è possibile Modbus RTU e Modbus TCP come singoli segnali BACnet-Objekte in un BACnet/IP o di rete BACnet MS/TP. Ciò consente l'integrazione di dispositivi modbus in BACnet BMS in edifici.
